Biography
Art can happen anywhere.
I shoot unique performances in irregular, intimate locations.
I started photographing at DIY house shows, documenting the beauty of community and art. The intensity and intimacy of these environments made me fall in love with the rawness of the medium, and I began to work at my college newspaper, the 100-year-old Montana Kaimin.
Since then, I've worked for KPAX-TV in Missoula for two years as a reporter and camera operator. I've been published by the Missoulian and the former Missoula Independent.
I've worked for KBGA 89.9 FM, a trailblazing not-for-profit college radio station based out of Missoula as photo editor and media director.
Since 2019, I've worked as freelance photographer and documentarian, continuing to archive Missoula and Montana underground music and culture!
This site hosts photos taken at shows and concerts, as well as independent feature and editorial work.
